Ravalli Electric Co-op (REC) is governed by a member-elected board of directors. The board represents the 7 districts included in REC’s coverage area. Every Co-op member has a say in who represents them on the board and may exercise their right to vote each year at the Annual Meeting.
The board meets once a month to discuss the issues that affect Co-op membership. REC board meetings typically take place on the fourth Tuesday of every month but are subject to change. Board of Director Election – March 2025
Ravalli Electric Cooperative’s annual Board of Director election will take place during our Annual Meeting in March 2025. This year, seats for Districts 1 and 5 are up for election.
If you are interested in running for a seat on the Board of Directors, you must submit a completed Director Petition Form to be eligible. Petitions are available at our office or can be downloaded here from our website.
The deadline to submit your petition is January 17, 2025.
Serving on the Board is a great way to make a difference in your co-op and community. We encourage all eligible members to consider this opportunity!

Please note: In order to schedule adequate time and room for your visit, this request must be turned in 10 business days before the next scheduled Board Meeting you would like to attend. REC Board Meetings are held every fourth Tuesday of the month but are subject to change.
